Pencil Holder

The kids like to hang their artwork on the walls in their rooms. One morning, I walked into the boys' room and saw this nifty pencil holder...
I'm not sure which one of them created it. I am thinking it was either Seven or Rilian.

Cards In The Carpet

Rilian is GREAT at entertaining himself and has a very vivid imagination! He was playing Go Fish with Jeremy and then discovered that he could stick the cards in the carpet!
Then Mingus came along and foiled the plan...

Smeagol

Seven was playing a game with Jeremy and I walked into the room and saw Seven sitting like this...
It reminded me of Smeagol from Lord of the Rings...anyone else think the same thing?

Leaves

My kids had raked a big pile of leaves and played in it. One day I caught Rilian playing in it all by himself! So cute!

Wine Festival

The farm that Jeremy will soon be managing had a fundraiser a couple of months back. Remember, I am behind in my posting. There were several different wines to taste and a few food vendors to eat at. There was also live music. It was a very pleasant day. When we arrived, we were given these wine glasses for our wine tasting, sans the wine.
There were brochures telling about Grapevine Farms and what it's purpose and goal are.

The brochure also had a list of some of the crops that will be grown. As of today, we have a couple thousand onions planted!
I love watching my kids when they don't know I am watching them! I caught three of them just chillaxin' on bales of hay.
Then they noticed I was taking their picture and "attitude" arrived...and a stick in Seven's hand became a sword.
Rilian was off somewhere exploring the farm...or he was playing with the chickens or goats.
Pretty Piper with hay in her mouth...
Finn pulling hay out of the bale...
I looked back at Piper and she was now eating the hay...
I did not taste all of the wines, but I tasted over half. Jeremy and I brought this one home as a souvenir because it was our favorite of the ones we tasted. It was different because it was made with apples. It was really good!

Game Night

Every so often our church has a fun game night for the kids. The theme this time was to dress up as an animal. Piper wanted to take two of her friends and they coincidentally all dressed up as cats, so of course I HAD to take their picture!

Such cute cats!

What Does The Fox Say?

We arrived at Rilian's school a few minutes before the bell rang to go to class, so we waited in the car and this song came on...

Have you seen anything more adorable?

Lego Key

My boys can be entertained by Legos for HOURS! They love them! Seven made a key out of Legos. Impressive, huh?

Bubble Wrap

Rilian struck gold (in a child's eyes) when Granny got a package that had LOTS of bubble wrap in it! He started out with just a little piece...
Then he found the huge roll that had been used as packing material!
So much fun!

Doing Their Part

Finn and Seven's Cub Scout Troop collected food for a local food bank one Saturday. The bags were filled with canned goods and other non-perishable items.
Seven looks so proud!
After they collected the food from the houses, they put it in the back of the car to be taken to a local food bank. Way to go Finn and Seven!
